OUR STORY
Moving to the countryside a year ago really opened our eyes to the beautiful woodland and parkland in and around Dundee and Angus. Getting outdoors and exploring has provided us with a real sense of adventure, allowing us to escape the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, and simply appreciate being together as a family on our bikes. We both have a background working in the sports industry and are lucky to share the same interest in keeping healthy through an active lifestyle. We have always been keen cyclists and moving to Angus has inspired us to set up our own family bike hire business.

GM Bikes offer a quality bike hire service without the restrictions of hourly rates. We stock a large selection of Trek Marlin mountain bikes in different sizes and provide cycling equipment which comes free of charge with every hire. We believe in 'Biking Made Easy' and therefore run an efficient bike delivery and collection service. All bookings are dealt with through our onsite office, and within our workshop, each bike is professionally checked before and after every hire by our qualified mechanic ensuring that it is reliable and safe to ride.

Angus is an amazing place to visit and has some of the best cycling routes to get out and explore. It is full of breath taking countryside, historic castles and attractive beaches. The beautiful seaside towns of Carnoustic, Arbroath and Monifieth all have a relaxed bike friendly environment and offer many amenities such as coffee shops, friendly pubs and lovely country parks. You also have the option of following the cycle path to Dundee to visit the RRS Discovery Steamship or the new famous V & A Museum. Kirrimuir, better known as the gateway to the Angus Glens, is a great starting point for cyclists with miles of superb biking tracks leading to the heart of the Cairngorm Mountains.
